From August 21–22, 2025, Saint Petersburg hosted the annual scientific and practical conference “Вреденовские чтения” (Vreden Readings) — a leading event in traumatology and orthopedics, bringing together international participants from Russia, the CIS countries, and experts from Europe, Asia, and beyond.

This edition, focused on import substitution and artificial intelligence in orthopedic surgery, gathered Russian, European, and international experts to discuss the latest innovations in robotics, AI, next-generation implants, and infection prevention.
